Description

Mooer The Juicer is the signature overdrive pedal of virtuoso guitarist Neil Zaza. This pedal is model after the DOD FX51 Juice Box pedal, which the later Digitech Bad Monkey was based on. It has controls for level and "juice" (gain) along with separate bass and treble controls rather than a single tone control. The Juicer has a clarity that cuts through the mix and works well pushing an amp into break up, stacking with other overdrive and distortion pedals, as well as with amp and effects modeling units. It's a fantastic low-medium gain overdrive pedal that punches above its weight and has flown under the radar of pedal enthusiasts. From Neil Zaza:"The Juicer is a very special overdrive pedal. Modeled after the DOD FX51 Juice Box (my fav OD for years) it’s designed to give a very transparent and sustaining quality to your tone. It’ll add some boost and life to a crunchy amp by hitting the front end with some added “juice” (gain). You’ll notice that it’s surprisingly quiet in use and makes playing leads a bit more effortless while imparting a singing quality to them. Use it before another overdrive/distortion pedal or a raging stack. It’s subtle, but powerful! Enjoy!"From Mooer""Designed in close collaboration with rock guitarist Neil Zaza, the Juicer takes its cue from Zaza’s favorite overdrive stomp, the DOD FX51 Juice Box. You can squeeze out a highly dynamic and touch-sensitive overdrive with insanely long sustains from the Juicer. It’s not a high gain pedal, but pair the Juicer with another overdrive or distortion unit and you can inject a lot of extra juice into an already screaming amp. On its own, the Juicer is perfect for those who want a more subtle approach to their overdrive."
