100% handcrafted in 🇺🇸This 2-channel, booster was designed to drive amplifiers into overdrive or saturation. The channels are labeled Vintage and Modern. The Vintage side draws inspiration from rare germanium boosts like the Dallas Rangemaster, while the Modern side features a new +23dB gain dual JFET, providing a very transparent guitar signal amplification. The Time Machine Boost uses a Maxim MAX1044 voltage doubling IC for additional headroom. As with all Keeley electronics, it incorporates top-of-the-line audiophile components. Each unit’s germanium Vintage side is meticulously calibrated and ear-tuned to achieve the perfect treble boost. The Modern side uses popular J201 JFETs for a maximum tube-like tone and pristine, clear highs. This booster is designed to complement other overdrive pedals, completing your tone package or drive section in your effects setup. It is not an overdrive or distortion pedal and needs to be used with other OD pedals. The Time Machine Boost has a rich history, starting in 2002 when David Szabados and Robert Keeley designed the original pedal under the company Legendary Tones. It was one of the few pedals at the time to be completely point-to-point wired, leading to its significant success.
