Oddly enough I formally used one with an acoustic guitar through an electric rig (tube amp typically manufactured for electric guitar) Which I found made the signal chain much more acoustic friendly. Thus, if your looking for a "poor mans" way around dropping the $ for an acoustic amp but you want to gig your acoustic, and your Marshall, Fender, or Boogie ain't quite cutting Tequilla Sunrise or Pink Houses wise.
