Built like a tank and still some of the best high quality effects for studio and live use. Comes with power cord and Mogami Gold 4 channel 15" snake (worth $150) for connecting with the 4 cable system to an amp. I used it with my Two Rock amp for amp channel switching with some effects routed between guitar and preamp and some in the effects loop of the amp. Perfect system for high quality recording and live use equally. The TC Electronics reverbs, delays, chorus, flange, and more are the best ever and with 4 effects loops (plus 4 9volt power supply jacks for powering your pedals) for external overdrive and distortion pedals of your choosing you have the best of all worlds. (I used a Klon, an OCD, a Tube Screamer, and a Dumkudo for all the distortion options I could ever want!) There are 100 presets and 200 user slots for your own presets, up to nine effects can be used and routed in any order and controlled by expression pedals in real time. This is the brains of a serious pro effects system. The effects unit can be used on the floor as it is mounted underneath the footcontroller, or it can be separated and rack mounted and just use the floor controller at your feet. I loved being able to hit one button, and call up all my effects in the chain and switch amp channels all from one command. Plus you can turn individual effects on and off in real time from within the preset. Also comes with owners manual (you'll need it) and some tips and extra info that TC Electronics sent me on how to program channel switching for an amp along with other tips.
