Second half of the 1960s vintage VOX Tone Bender pedal with SFT337 and SFT363E germanium transistors. This unit can be very very loud and the Attack control leaves you a lot of room before going into action - at the end of stroke it affecting enourmously the sound - so it leaves you get a vaste overdrive tone range before the sound becomes all that fuzzy. Also, because germanium components may be affected by the clymate and enviroment temperature - they act like a sort of "living beings" themselves - so you never know how "nasty and arrogant" or if "creamy and sweet" will work one day compared to another. Jimmy Page well-knew how to tame these gorgeous pedals; the legendary Led Zeppelin songs - first of all Whole Lotta Love - are an evidence of that. Some little chipped spot at the enclosure and a few scuffs on the bottom panel but nothing remarkable considering its own age. BTW short Serial Number - only five digits - does indicate it's one of the earliest.HAVE A LOOK AT MY OTHER LISTINGS AS WELL
