About the Unicorn Account

Description

So back in the 90s I owned one of the original Klon Centaur pedals. I am not going to wax poetic on how great the pedal was or wasn't, nor am I going to complain about selling it on eBay a couple of years later.... as it never would have stuck around long enough for me to cash out on the insanity of the last handful of years. The only item that falls under that category is the Foo Fighters Monkey Wrench/Pat Smear video guitar that I owned during that same era. That thing just got auctioned off a couple years ago for stupid money and I could just kick myself for not holding onto it (although it did smell terrible!!!! Sorry Pat! Heehee....)Anyway....That is the back story as to why I had decided to create a little collection of Klon clones to kinda represent that period of my life as a player. They are all very cool as they all kind of have their own take and their own individual character. But like everything else in my store right now, I am clearing house..... so all four must go. Check my other listings for a Critter Clone (w. TLE2072CP chip), a Wampler Tumnus, and yes.... even a completely unopened JHS NOTAKLÖN as I thought this would be the ultimate bookend to my Klon story. But alas.... I never got to write it. ;)Some folks consider the Ryra to be the ultimate Klon clone, which was the role it was playing in my collection. Whereas the Tumnus and Critter were both variations, this was the one that was supposed to be the "flagship" model of the collection. Do I remember from more than 25 years ago if it sounds the same? No. No I do not. But that midrange boost that these things are known for is very apparent in the Ryra and it is fantastic. I attached the actual CME video from their launch of these as a special limited collaboration. It is the color-shifting "chameleon sparkle" and is mint. You will not find a used one in better condition! I tried to take a lot of pictures with different lighting to grab the color shifting.Apologies for my rant on these pedals (and not sure why I threw the Pat Smear part in there).... Let me know if you have any questions.... and please check out my other items!!!Original description:The Rock Your Repaired Amp Klone is an exact, part for part, meticulously crafted replica of the infamous "transparent" overdrive pedal. It is painstakingly crafted using the absolute best components with a deep devotion to perfection. This recreation of the through-hole constructed overdrive pedal, now out of production, is known for its big, 3D, open sound that cuts right through the mix. This is a pedal for players who don’t typically like pedals.Dimensions: 4.7" x 3.7" x 1.18"Buffered BypassDC Jack9V BatteryLots of other pedals, guitars, and pro audio gear currently in my store.... please check it all out!MORE GEAR COMING!    Every time I list here I forget how much work it is to take pictures, create listings, etc. so I don’t have everything up yet, but please follow my shop to be updated on new listings, sales, etc. over the next week or so.  I put up a bunch of listings about 6 months or so ago, but I’ll be listing more than 60 additional pieces of gear (guitars, pedals, pro audio, etc.), all of which lightly used in a non-smoking home studio environment. Changing my focus here a bit and I need to streamline things. re: SHIPPING / INSURANCEIf you would like expedited shipping or additional insurance options, please let me know as this is NOT included in this price. Shipping rates have really escalated lately and since I am not a dealer, I don't get the same rates they do. Please check my shop's shipping policies for further details.re: RETURNSI have noticed in recent years here and on other sites there seems to be an increase of buyers that purchase an item, practically invent some sort of problem or issue, and then hold the seller's feedback ransom in order to get a few bucks back for free.  That is why I am making it perfectly clear in my listings that I do not accept returns. Please ask all questions up front (additional condition details, request more pictures, etc.). However, if you check my feedback both here and on a popular auction site ( jmarsh45 ) you will see that I have a perfect 100% feedback rating of over 1,100 across both platforms over the past 20+ years.  I take my feedback and my gear very seriously even though I am a hobbyist. So please know that if there is a genuine problem, I am sure we can work something out. Just reach out before or after with any questions or issues.
