Description

Analog Man Sun Lion Fuzz BoosterTrue Bypass on both sidesTwo 3PDT stomp switches, one for each side. Either or both can be used.Status LED on each side. This one has BART transistors:"In 2020 we got some Big Ass Russian Transistors in that work great in the Sun Face, Sun Lion, and Beano Boost. They sound HUGE, too. Easy to use, cut well, nice and fuzzy with cleanup all the way on the guitar pot. Lots of low end but can tighten up with the optional CLEAN knob, clean trimpot, or guitar volume knob. Run the FUZZ knob down a bit and the BIAS up a bit for cleaner sounds like the white dot NKT275. These are sometimes just a little noisy but we discard any that are too noisy. Our BART transistors are inherently medium-high gain range."NOS Germanium transistor, selected for best tone and low noise on Beano side.High quality RE'AN British input and output jacks, top mounted for pedalboards. Battery disconnected when INPUT cord removed (input is on the right). Sun Dial bias control is standard. Battery should be a cheap non-alkaline general purpose battery, as found in the dollar stores. These will sound better than an alkaline.Size is 4.75" wide, 3.75" long, and 1.5" tall not including switch etc (about 2 1/8" tall to the switch). Some minor scuffage on the bottom, but not really noticeable. The logo on the bottom has worn away a bit. Otherwise pretty close to mint. All the different runs of Sun Face pedals sound different depending on the transistor, and each pedal is unique. The YouTube video linked in this listing is the closest I could find to this specific run (this pedal has BART transistors, I could not find a video with the same), but it should not be taken as a direct sound-alikeCharlottetown
