Keeley Seafoam Chorus v1Like a lot of us, I own a bunch of chorus pedals. And this one I simply adore! I can’t figure out why it’s not more famous. Its a chorus and pitch vibrato combo box. Clean or overdriven, dry or stacked or bathed in verb, the Seafoam is very musical, and its signature sound always fits perfectly in a mix or a live setting. It’s not an in-your-face swooshy chorus. It’s a wonderful tone enhancer, reminiscent somewhat of the Roland Jazz Chorus/Vibrato effect, or the Boss Dimension C. But it’s its own beautiful thing. The only reason I’m getting rid of my Seafoam is that I own several different chorus pedals and there’s only so much chorusing a guy can do. Time to let this one go, to some creative musician. The Seafoam green chassis and heavy duty steel knobs look great on a pedal board (a much more attractive design that the later v2 Seafoam, imo).
