Drunk Beaver FET OverBooster

FET OverBooster is our take on a discontinued Boss™ FA-1 FET Amplifier in a pedal format. The pedal could be used as a preamp/boost to drive your amp or as an overdrive. Overdrive mode enables asymmetrical soft clipping using orange LEDs. It uses NOS Tesla MA1458 op-amp and Toshiba 2SK209-GR J-FET transistor and runs the circuit at +-9V to offer extended dynamics.

Controls:
- Gain - the level of boost or drive.
- 3-Band Active EQ - allows to boost or decrease the amount of treble, mids, and bass.
- Output - pedal output level.
- Tight switch - enables 6 dB/octave low frequencies cut before boost.
- Mode switch - allows switching between standard FA-1 boost or asymmetrical LED soft clipping drive.
- LED brightness trimmer - placed on the PCB trimmer allows you to adjust the status LED brightness.

Power Supply: 9V DC adapter (Boss-style negative center) not included. No batteries. They are bad for the environment 🌲.
