Dual Bandpass Filter with VCA
The TM-2 consists of two "Twin-T" type tube-based bandpass filters with their center frequencies offset by 2 octaves, operating in the bass and treble regions. Filter Tune controls the cutoff for both filters, they sweep together as a single unit.. Filter Resonance controls the resonance peak for both filters. The outputs of both filters are mixed going into the output stage.
The output stage is a voltage-controlled amplifier that can act as a passive gain stage, or with voltage control producing a gain of around 5.
As with other Metasonix TM series pedals, settings can be controlled manually or via control voltage inputs.
