Sequenced clock divider
Sequenced clock divider and quick rhythm generator, for 4U LW.
At its core, ECG is a clock divider. But with some additional features, it is also a clock sequencer. Each steps has its own period derived from the main clock and its own amount of those periods. When this count is reached, just like a sequencer, its jumps to the following step.
It is made to be a quick rhythm generator, to add some variations or for odd-time signatures.
There is one main clock output that is the result of the sequence of all clocks sequenced together. But, all of these clocks are individually available through their own output.
The SUM output is a mix of all simultaneously active clocks, creating a seemingly fluctuating voltage useful for additional modulation.
All derived clocks will stay in phase with the original.
It also packs a classic, simple four-step CV sequence, just like any sequencer. Additional controls such as direction, hold or reset makes it a bit more flexible.
