The PHASEFOLDER is at first sight an intriguing and complex module.

The core of this module is a quadrature oscillator. Four consecutive sine signals with 45° difference between each signal.

These are called P1+ to P4+ respectively and are available at the bottom of the module as outputs.
The negative version of these outputs are available as P1- to P4- and are located just above the LEDs.
The switches at the top left of the module are for phase shift. So you can create shifts from 1 to 8 phases.
Certain combinations of the sine signals systematically turn the sinus into square wave signals. You will then not only hear phase shift but also tonality difference.

The module has a linear FM input, but also 2x V/OCT inputs.

I encourage everyone to connect 1 or more positive or negative P signals into 1 of the V/OCT to obtain the most remarkable signals.

This oscillator can easily handle 5 octaves and is very stable. In addition to the core function of this quadrature oscillator, a wavefolder is integrated. The positive signals can be mixed 1 by 1 in the wavefolder using the knobs P1 to P4. An additional input is available at EXTERNAL IN. The amount of wavefolding can be adjusted via the FOLDING knob. The result of this wavefolder is heard in the FOLDER output as well as a pulse version of this output next to it.
