Sequencer/Quantizer / Dual GTS
The SEQQ is an innovative variation of the classic Serge’s analog sequencer / programmer. It combines an 8-step single-row sequencer with 2 new modes to select the active stage by voltage control - either “free” or clocked. This actually allows to map a continuous incoming signal to 8 specific (descrete) levels, turning the sequencer into a primitive quantizer. Or to design longer sequences from these 8 steps by sending in pattern waveforms as CV.
The new GTS is the latest iteration of Serge’s famous slew generator, the Universal Slope Generator (USG), completely redesigned by Serge for uncompromising speed and accuracy. Fastest rise and fall times are about 13us, giving a max frequency of about 29kHz (not audible!). When the waveform is set to sawtooth, the GTS can track the 1V/Octave input over 6 octaves (up to > 2.5kHz).
The GTS is probably the most versatile module in the Serge world, if not anywhere. It can serve a wide range of functions for both CV and audio such as envelope generation, function generation, filter / lowpass gate, clock and trigger generation.
These merchants probably sell this module. Huh?
