These are speculative thoughts. It'd be neat if...

With those five Moog spots on the left, it needs some sort of switching/modulation spine down its center.
That nice commonality of having that familiy of modules, and their shared i/o design, gets tossed away to the right side.
And if you got 'em, you're gonna use 'em, so there will always be a Moogy cable thicket right down the middle.
Don't know what that magic cross-modulation-spine device module set controller would be,
other than expensive, probably. Does somebody make that?

Spectravox is such a specialized tool, It's hungry in a rack, both for the space and the i/o it can do.
For me, it shines as a solo voice, and it's subtle and delicate, but easily buried in other synth sounds.
I'm thinking of it more as a 84hp outboard with some i/o to help it.
