Dramatic 4 / 8 stage multi-wave Phase Shifter

This is a 1U version of Ray Wilson's Music From Outer Space 8 Stage Phase Shifter built by Lower West Side Studio

Music From Outer Space has a wide range of modular products many of which are designed to produce sounds that are…. well… out of this world. In keeping with that thought the 8 Stage Phase Shifter is not your average phase shifter.

While some phase shifters produces smooth, almost melodic shifts of sound the 8 Stage Phase Shifter applies a more dramatic effect. While the input can be smoothly phase shifted, more aggressive settings can produce unexpected effects including an almost water-like sound.

2 control voltage inputs are available to affect the phase shift.

The 8 Stage Phase Shifter comes in a 1U width with 1″ (25.4mm) knobs controlling 3 potentiometers; Input Level, Depth, Rate and Feeback

2 toggle switches control LFO wave shape (Triangle or Ramp) and number of stages (4 or 8)

The module operates at +/- 15V and comes with a Synthesizers.com style power connector.
