Modulaire Maritime Tarot La Coupe

Modulaire Maritime's Tarot La Coupe is a beefed-up version of the original Tarot, offering the same waveshaping ability but with more modulation inputs and internal feedback networks. Marking the most complex module MM has come out with to date, the Tarot La Coupe offers crossfadable timbres, frequency-specific waveshaping, saturation, and rectifying. The module is piloted by the Crossfade knob which gives you two channels for the waveshaping: A for the PLL or Fold stage and B for the Warp and Shape controls. Channel A has a switch that lets you change from static wavefolding to a pitch tracking phase locked looping mode, as well as selecting whether you want stage 1, 2, or both. An internal VCO tracks audio signals across a range of five octaves and can produce glissando slides or a more direct tracking with the corresponding switch. Tracking can be taken from the input or from Channel B with the flip of a switch.

Channel B is controlled by the Warp and Shape knobs, all of which can be CV controlled. Blending both channels can unlock new harmonics and with the 7 CV inputs, a dynamic patch is easily concocted. An optional 2hp expander offers dedicated outputs for each of the six stages for external mixing.
