The Tenderfoot Ringr is a two-channel passive ring modulator, inspired by Father Moo, providing classic transformer-based ring modulation in 4hp. With no signal patched into the carrier input, the module behaves as a diode wave rectifier. With two channels plugged in, you get the classic four quadrant amplitude multiplication.

Ring modulation has been used to create the voice of the Daleks in Dr. Who and adds a characteristic timbre to the input modulator signal, determined by the harmonic makeup of the carrier and modulator signals. With Ringr, you get two ring mods in one convenient package. Plus, it's passive—so it doesn't draw any power from the rest of your case.
