This is a decent 1073 clone, it’s basically the same as the GAP Pre-573. I actually prefer the sound of this Alctron compared to the GAP, especially when you drive the input to distortion. I just don’t use this unit as much now that I have some AML 1073 clones. This has lived racked in my studio since I purchased it new. Unfortunately I dropped it when moving it to a different power supply and it bent the corner a bit, but it still works great.
