Dual Mono/Stereo Compressor/Limiter

These modules are not a clone of anything but all are based on the same module that the early API 525 was based on. That’s the OG late ‘60’s Melcor CL-20. Not to be confused with the current day Melcor name. Custom VCR2N FETs hanging from a discrete opamp’s inverting input to ground. How could it not be magical?
Some details for each are following.
The FaQ20 will features fully variable comp/limit and makeup gain with 3 attack/release options via toggle switches. The metering is a ground up design that relies on the FET’s DC control voltage. Unlike any of the predecessors, the meter accuracy is incredibly spot-on.
The FaQ21 is a Built By CAPI Only single channel unit featuring all stepped controls. Here we have 5 carefully chosen options for attack/release as well as a sidechain pad and stepped dry inject for parallel blend.
The FaQ22 is a 2-channel DUAL MONO version of the FaQ21. All features are the same with the addition of a 3 position sidechain blend. This unit will operate as 2 fully independent channels or 2 variations of a stereo interlinked bus comp monster! Possibly the very first 500 series dual mono comp in existence?
